Thoughts

Sam, you were a great friend to both of us at a particularly tricky time in both of our lives. You gave a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen and were a light-hearted, fun and spirited person to go out with. You were also one of the original Angel Blacks netballers and possibly the only one to keep your cool, even when tensions on that court got heated! You were just endlessly kind, full of empathy and fun to be around. Even though our friendship drifted in recent years, when our paths did cross it was like no time had passed. You played a poignant role at a pivotal time in both our lives and will always hold such a very special place in our hearts.

Sam inspired us with her unique style of Personal Training that made us want to lose weight and get fitter at David Lloyd as part of the Weight Management group. We had so much fun and achieved so much under her guidance. We enjoyed her teaching, motivation and how much she cared about us as individuals.Sam was Simply the Best and I am so sorry she has left us so soon. With love to her family xx

Sam refered josia to Romsey young carers with some cautiosness. Whilst acknowledging his role as a young carer to Andrew, she didn't want him to feel as though he is inadvertantly sent away from the family. It was very important for her that he wants to come. Sam was so involved, appreciative and greatful for all the support RYC offered. Always keen to know how club was for josia, and loved receiving pics from clubs. Sam was so keen to give back to the charity, and we are so greatful for her initiative, rallying family and friends to raise funds for us. All of us in RYC miss her so much. We are struggling to come to terms with her sudden loss. She was part of the RYC family. One of her last messages to me was her wish to be a fly on the wall at club, seeing Josia, as she could believe how well he ate at clubs and how playful confident and relaxed he is with us all. I promised her I would send her a short video of him. Sadly ..I never got a chance to do that.. We extend our love to Ally and Andrew, the wider family and all her friends. Josia is much loved at RYC and we are comforted knowing that Sam knew that.
